No matter what kind of clothes, shoes and accessories a woman adorns herself with she will always pay special attention to her most prized possession, her hair. This is the final step in bringing her look all together. But what happens when you can’t get to the Salon? We have to fend for ourselves ladies in those times of need. It always helps to have a good back up plan.
It doesn’t matter if your hair is curly, straight, relaxed, colored, short or long. The basic steps to beautiful, shiny, healthy hair are in an excellent shampoo and conditioning regimen. Your hair and scalp both need to be nurtured just as the body does. Make sure you use products that will give your hair and scalp all the nourishment it needs. Your hair will not only look good on the outside but it will actually be healthy from the inside out and from the roots to the ends. And it will thank you for the extra attention by being more manageable than you ever imagined.
Hair grows best in a clean and nourished scalp. For this reason I use two different shampoos. I like to use the Deep Cleansing Shampoo by Influance. After I rinse the shampoo out, thoroughly, I then use the Moisturizing Shampoo, twice. I shampoo twice with the moisturizing shampoo because the hair and scalp needs to be replenished of all the moisture that the Deep Cleansing Shampoo just removed. I do this twice a week. Everyone is different so you set your schedule to whatever your hair needs are and what works for you.
The next step is using a Deep Conditioning Treatment at least once a week. The hair needs protein. And a good deep penetrating conditioner will keep your hair nice and strong with a beautiful shine. My favorite is Multiplex Conditioner by Influance. I like it because it strengthens, increases shine and manageability, and adds body all without weighing the hair down. The bonus is how very easy this light cream rinses out. And the comb will just glide through your hair smoothly with no tangles.
Now you’re all set to blow dry, roller set or air dry and style your soft, shiny and well conditioned tresses. Have some fun with the styling. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different looks. Let your personality show so when you walk into a room everyone knows that “you” have arrived.
Influance products can be purchased on their website www.influancehaircare.com and at Hair Salons.
