TheBalm Cosmetics Product Review

To all my Curvy beauties! Have I got a gorgeous palette and blush for you. When you are looking for eye shadows, you are always on the lookout for different shades, looks, etc. The best thing in the world is when you stumble upon that particular palette that really can give you options. When I came across the line called TheBalm, I was most intrigued by the adorable packaging and vintage feel. I love that the blush had a name such as “Hot Mama” with an image of a vintage pinup girl on it. It was just so cute and I thought it was so girly that it really could cater to a broad variety of consumers. The Vol 3 Shady Lady palette was a lovely find as well. The variety in the shade range and the color payoff was very impressive. I love that there was everything from a highlight color to shades that could create the perfect smokey eye. The slogan for the line is: “Youth is both a state of mind and a product of your makeup bag,” as quoted by creator, Marissa Shipman. There is nothing truer than that statement and this line is living proof. With a wide range of products from primers to lip stains, it really stands out as an amazing makeup line. The brand is targeted for women of all ages and encompasses a nostalgic feel. I also like that the blush is also suggested as a shadow for the eyes. The palette and blush do work for those women on the go who carry their makeup with them. It isn’t bulky or heavy, but rather compact and comfortable. The Shady Lady vol 3 palette is a limited edition being sold through www.thebalm.com as well as Sephora. The shadows are labeled as shadow or shadow/liner and serve double duty for those fast paced individuals. It is valued at $108, but sold at $39.50 for eight shadows and a shadow/liner. It is formulated without parabens or sulfates and can be used wet or dry. The blush is a lovely peach tone perfect for this season and is wonderful as a highlighter for darker skin tones. I truly recommend this line, as it is fun and really beautiful. Please see my video review below for more information. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below. Stay beautiful!
