I promise that what you will see in this guide will not only make you fabulous from head to toe, but will have people shocked when they hear that you got your fabulous handbag from Target for $12.99.  If you’re a curvy girl like me, you’re forever on a budget. Between paying for books each semester, working part-time at the mall or just not bringing in the dead presidents, your style never has to suffer. Today let’s create the Smokey eye on a budget.

The Ever Popular Smokey Eye

The Kardashian sister’s always amaze us when they rock the Smokey eye look. Its seductive, it’s amazing and the products they use could definitely break my bank account.  The Smokey eye has taken over the makeup world and has everybody wanting smoldering eyes, but what about those of us who are drugstore makeup divas? Don’t worry; this guide will give you the products you need to help you recreate this sultry look on a dime.

I introduce to you, Maybelline Expert Eye’s Studio. A quad eye shadow palette that solves all of your Smokey eye problems. With a step, by step application guide and being available in 14 color combo sets, you can wear any color Smokey Eye with any fab outfit and give Kim, Kourtney and Khloe a run for their money!

So  now that you  have your eye shadow all Smokey and fierce , the only thing you need to complete this look and make it look even more fabulous, is a winged cat eye. My everyday look consists of a winged eye, and it adds a bit of Marilyn Monroe flair to any outfit that I wear. The Smokey eye and the winged liner are a match made in heaven. Paring the both together will ensure that your eyes pop and make you look even better than they already did. Pick your poison; will it be liquid or Gel?

If you went for Liquid that means that you want to bring a dramatic flair to your Smokey eye. The best product to go for is Maybelline once again with their Lash Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner. I borrowed this from my little sister and automatically fell in love with it. Sometimes it even comes in a value pack with Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto, so you end up getting two great products for the price of one. I would recommend you get this in the color Blackest Black, that way your Smokey eye really pops out and shows.

If you went for a Gel Eyeliner that means that you want to bring a bold flair to your Smokey eye. I would recommend Sonia Kashuk’s Dramatically Long Wear Gel Liner. I’ve had the honor of owning MAC’s Blacktrack Gel Liner and when I compare both of these products, both are equally as wonderful; just one is of course cheaper than the other. This liner goes on smooth and will bring a bold retro look to your winged Smokey Eye.
