Hello to my Curvy travelers! I hope you are all having the best time during summer vacations and eating at yummy places. I want to give you all the inside scoop on a fun and delicious restaurant to check out. I am talking of course about Gordon Biersch Brewery restaurants.  With a welcoming staff and fabulous dining, this is a truly iconic place to have some fresh handcrafted beer and world-class cuisine that is made from scratch. It has a really great décor through with all the beautiful dark cherry wood throughout. Location in the upscale area of Brickell, its minute’s away South Beach as well as downtown Miami. This is a restaurant that has everything a person could ask for. If it’s a night out for a few beers or a romantic dinner, Gordon Biersch has it all. With a very eclectic menu, it appeals to the masses. It caters to all appetites. From their fabulous fired calamari and phenomenal lobster and jumbo lump crab cakes appetizers to unforgettable steaks and Cajun shrimp tacos. It also has pizza, pasta, salads and stir fry on the menu. One of the best parts is the actual handcrafted beer.

I ordered a sampler of the six beers brewed in house including five permanent and one seasonal. Ranging from the light golden lager named “Golden Export” to their dark beer named “Schwarzbier”, which means black beer and actually has a dry roasted coffee finish. With their award-winning beer selection, you are bound to find the perfect one for your liking. The stills where it is brewed are located behind the beautiful full service bar, which houses large flat-screen TVs throughout for those looking to have a brew and watch a game.

This is a restaurant that is impeccable in its hospitality, flawless in their menu and is perfect for a night out with friends or family. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and fun, with specials everyday and free champagne for ladies on Friday evenings. They also have an outside patio for those gorgeous Miami evenings when you want to enjoy warm summer nights.

It was twenty years ago when the first restaurant opened in Palo Alto, California. Acquired by Big River Brewing Company in 1999, Gordon Biersch currently operates 30 restaurants in the United States, including Honolulu, Hawaii. Additionally, three Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants operate in Taiwan. The Gordon Biersch heritage of superior beer, great food and good times are now being served up fresh daily. So if you have a love of beer and are looking for a fun place with an eclectic mix, I highly recommend finding a Gordon Biersch in your area. For more information, go to: www.gordonbiersch.com.
