Curvy Cutie: Edith Navarrete

This week’s Curvy Cutie is Edith Navarrete from Mexico
Edith is a Business Management professional born and raised in Mexico, who stepped into the plus size modeling scene back in 2007 when she became the cover model for the online magazine Venus Diva in November of that year. After Venus Diva two others covers have followed, including one in print for “Expresion”, the entertainment section of the Hispanic newspaper “LaVoz” in Phoenix, AZ. Edith is also an active member of our sister organization Full Figures This Curvy Aztec beauty considers runway modeling her favorite type of modeling. One of her most important model jobs has been the launching campaign for the online boutique, shot in the Mexican Mayan Riviera.
What Edith Says about her Curves:

My curves made me a stronger woman, growing up in a society were plump women are highly criticized, I had to learn to love myself regardless, and make an extra effort to be confident and laugh about those who couldn’t understand what was so unique about this big girl, when compared to other women. My curves have always made me stand out, and now they’re putting me on the map to inspire other women to see themselves in a more positive light, to improve their self-esteem while encouraging them to take a step closer towards total confidence. Besides, God gave me these curves! God thought these curves would suit me good, who am I to contradict him?
