Guess everyone is not a Beyonce fan! Or maybe Amy Winehouse father Mitch Winehouse is and just doesn’t feel respected by Queen Bee. Yesterday, CURVY reported that Beyonce remade the late Winehouse’s “Back To Black” single with rapper/actor Andre 3000 for the new upcoming Leonardo DiCaprio film “The Great Gatsby” and Mitch doesn’t approve of it at all!
Amy’s dad told The Daily Mail, that Mrs. Carter “doesn’t bring anything to it” and that they never asked him permission to cover the song. He’s owns all the rights to his daughters songs.
Do I smell a law suit coming? Nah, Mitch also said that they have to “pay for the privilege, which is what they are doing.” He also mentioned that an large undisclosed amount would be payed out for using the Grammy award winning singers single. Wonder if it will go to The Amy Winehouse Foundation like her previous proceeds for her last album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, did.
What are your thoughts? Was Bey wrong or is daddy Winehouse a little money hungry?
