Lucky Brand launches ‘Ginger’, the company’s first venture into plus size denim. The Ginger denim collection will be available beginning July 15 at major retailers nationwide available in sizes 14-24.

Dave DeMattei, CEO of Lucky Brand said, “We are particularly excited for the launch of this collection as we recognized a void in the plus size marketplace for an accessible, premium, denim. Our goal is to be inclusive of all body types when creating clothing.”

Ginger is a mid-rise top-block jean that is offered in three leg openings – skinny, straight and boot cut. The jean features a contoured waist to fit one’s curves and is created with super stretch fabric with great recovery to maintain shape. To compliment the Ginger, Lucky has also created a complete head-to-toe plus size fashion collection comprised of product taken from the brand’s favorite and most iconic styles from the core brand offering with fit adjustments for a more flattering silhouette.

The fall collection is priced at $99-$129 for denim, $49.50-$79.50 for knits/tees,$79.50-$99 for wovens, and $99-$119 for sweaters. The collection will initially launch across 118 doors, comprised of major retailers including Nordstrom and, Macy’s and, Von Maur, Lord & Taylor and Belk.
