Shady T’s: A Lip Color Review

IMG_0329

A woman can never have enough lip products. Lip colors will never go out of style. You can never have enough reds, pinks, purples or any variations of that color. So I was so happy to be able to work with this company. This company was started by 3 young ladies from my hometown of Baltimore, MD who simply wanted to start a business venture featuring something they all loved, which was beauty. Shady T’s was created earlier this year and has taken off ever since. Shady T’s is for everyone from the little girl whose mom buys her her first lipgloss, to the working woman looking for a subtle coat at the office, our mature mothers, to our club queen that loves a loud Shade. We have developed this line to cater to the needs of the everyday woman. Recently we launched our men’s line (which is unisex) and has Chapstick and lip balm.

These young ladies were nice enough to send me a sample of what they have to offer and I truly believe that you will not be disappointed, so let’s get to the review.

I was most excited about these retractable lipliners. I was sent 3 retractable lipliners with lipbrushes on the end! Now I may have been living under a rock but I have never seen these! I was sent Chestnut (my current FAVORITE), Intense Berry and Scarlet Red.

The lipliners are very smooth and creamy and apply well. I found them to very pigmented and well worth their money. As I have stated I have used them all at this point, with Chestnut being used the most and I don’t see me needing to replace them anytime soon.

These lipliners retail for $13.oo. A great purchase in my opinion.

Next up we have 3 lipsticks that were another wonderful surprise from Shady Ts. These colors were very pigmented and applied very easily. None of the colors were drying and long lasting. I have worn these to work and with drinking I have found these to last. The colors that I have are Mother Pink, Nude Everything and Money Making Pink.

This is a wonderful company, whose line of products is continuing to expand and definitely should be on your radar. Be sure to check them out and let them know that Curvy Magazine sent you!
