3 Ways to rock Emerald Green, the color of 2013

Pantone, the color-geniuses of the fashion, beauty and design world have spoken and Tangerine Tango is so last year. The hue guaranteed to make an appearance at this year’s red carpet events, in fashion shows and in home and beauty products is Emerald green. Pantone describes the color as “lively, radiant, and lush.”

Emerald has already made its way into upcoming collections by fashion designers Tracy Reese, Nanette Lepore and Marimekko. Pantone and Sephora have partnered together again for the Sephora+Pantone University 2013 Color of the Year beauty collection which will feature Emerald green eye shadow, nail polish and accessories. The collection is set to hit stores in March 2013.

Pantone will also be partnering with JC Penny for a home collection inspired by the color which will hit JC Penny stores February 1.
