Perfect hair and makeup- peekaboo strands of pastels, and a pale cerulean eye
Intrigued by color; I ‘ve always been drawn to fashion that can be splashed across fabric just like on a canvas or blank piece of paper. Until this season, I have never been that fond of pastels, I thought they looked too girly girl bubble gum, reminding me of the pink frosted lipstick wearing days from adolescence. I adore watercolors in enjoy creating my own artistic combination of colors, so to not like pastels is somewhat of a euphemism. Now, paradoxically as the 30’s are sadly coming to an end for me, I’m drawn to the playfulness of pastels.
Hair and makeup are gorgeous when drenched in pastel hues of turquoise (teal), lavender, orange, and fuchsia take on a whole new life form, and are utterly breathtaking. African Violet and Linen are a favorite combination mixed in with subtle Emerald. Pastels really are perfect; they exude confidence, renewal, and youthfulness. Yes, less is definitely more, but you’re never to young or old to try something a little edgy or different that will pack a little power in your punch!
