Editorial Feature: Jeans – Use & Abuse

10351967_1570666913167973_6052031271627127153_nThis November, the team of Adriana Líbini produced an editorial with that timeless fabric that, since it was invented, have always had an special place in your wardrobe: denim.

This fabric is, in my opinion, the most democratic and practical that exists. There’s no restrictions to use it: it’s out there for men and women and it fits well for almost any occasion. And without saying the several washes and cuts, since the most basic until the most destroyed and customized. I’m sure you’ll find the perfect garment for your style, whatever it is.

The Use and Abuse plus size fashion editorial used a touch of Vintage on the scenario and on the garments, what reminds the boho trend. The different textures and colors of the Jeans in the editorial were carefully combined to show that we all can use and abuse of the “Total Denim” look – the most popular trend in this summer.

The chosen ones to participate of this editorial were the plus size model Livia Salomão and the models Igor Phellps and Luiz Silvestre. Along with the fashion production of Carol Santos and the make-up of Rita Carreira, they could highlight the sensuality that is inherent to this fabric.

But how can a fabric, a garment never to get outdated? I don’t know exactly, but one thing I’m sure: it will be on the catwalks for a very long time. Great news for us, that are in love with this trend, that reinvents itself every season.
