Keri Atikins is a Plus model from Portland, Oregon. Keri Atkins did not foresee a future in the fashion industry, let alone a career as a plus model. Most of her life, she felt as if fashion was not for her, due to her size. She never felt beautiful. She was always the tallest in her class, and she was always larger than any of the other girls. This encouraged a young Keri to ignore the fashion industry. In fact, Keri didn’t see a plus fashion campaign until she was a young adult. However, not long after this, Keri was approached by a store manager, asking her to consider plus modeling. This was a revelation. In this moment, Keri realized that a woman such as herself could be beautiful. And it was in this moment that Keri Atkins made it her personal goal to help other women realize the truth; all bodies are good bodies, and that fashion is for everyone. She’s been a plus model for over six years now. She’s a true beauty both inside an out.
She has an extensive portfolio featuring editorial, and commercial print work as well as runway experience in the Northwest area.
