Springin into Skinnies

Lets face it, men and fashion may not be quite where it is with women.   And a woman will probably always look better in tight pants, aka skinny or “slim”  jeans, but one thing men do know, is that if it feels comfortable, fits well, they’ll wear it.  Just ask Will Ferrell:

From the classic punk rocker Iggy Pop in the late 60’s, the 70’s Sid Vicious, Motley Crue in the 80’s, men have had a fancy to these tight pressing, ball crunching pants.

Companies are still marketing the now touted “slim jean” for men; however, it will remain as skinny. One would dare say, they are way better fitting, lot more comfortable, and a lot less ‘showy’, and not so feminine like the 80’s look.  Sorry Vince, Mick, Nikki and Tommy.

Whether it’s Will Ferrell showin off his tight pants, the classic rocker Iggy Pop, or the guy walkin to the local five and dime; if they feel good on, do it!  Just don’t show ‘the package’, and ‘wake the snake!’

On the other hand, one great fitting, good looking, comfortable pair of mens slim/skinny jean is 7 For All Mankind.  A company formed in 2000 in L.A, popular with the urban, fashion-conscious young adults, created the company in response to what they saw as a void in the contemporary denim market. A mens line was then introduced two years later, and has been very successful with its premium denim clothing line, ultra comfy not so snug skinny fit with plenty of wiggle room.
